What are your hygiene regulations since covid?
We are committed to our guests' safety, both on and off the bike. All equipment is sanitized before and after use, and our staff wear gloves when dealing with it. Guests are asked to wear masks when entering our office, but it is up to you whether you wear a mask while cycling. We will maintain social distancing wherever possible and continue to follow local health guidelines.
What is the cancellation policy?
We’re happy to offer free changes and 100% refund up to 24 hours before tour departure. Failure to cancel a reservation at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure may result in forfeited travel funds. Fare difference may apply.
Where is the meeting point?
This tour departs from 79 Chambers Street, 10007.
Is this tour good for kids?
We think so! There is a slight uphill section at the beginning of the tour, but kids who ride bikes regularly should be fine. We do ask that all children be able to ride their own bikes on this tour; our route unfortunately isn't great for buggies or tag-along tandems. We also ask that all guests under 18 be accompanied by an adult.
Are food and drink included?
This is a relatively short tour, designed to help you better understand the icon that is the Brooklyn Bridge. We haven't allotted for a dedicated stop within our two hours together, but you are welcome to bring a drink and snacks along.
How long is this tour?
The whole tour is approximately two hours, but there will be plenty of stops and opportunities for photos. We will cover approximately 7 miles/11 kilometers.
Am I required to wear a helmet?
Yes, we provide helmets free of charge and sanitize them before and after each use. We ask that all guests wear one.
Besides the bridge, what else will we see?
Before crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, we will spend some time in the City Hall district, or the Financial district of Manhattan. This is a great opportunity to see this part of the city and lay the groundwork for our tour. From there, you will make your way towards the bridge, and then make several stops on the bridge to inspect the architecture and take in the views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Upon arrival in Brooklyn, you will have a chance to ride through the neighborhood where the historic houses stand.
What if it rains?
Our tours run rain or shine! We encourage you to check the weather and dress appropriately, or feel free to reach out to us about rescheduling. We will do our best to accommodate as availability allows.
Can I leave the tour early?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate this request and ask that all guests plan on completing the tour with us once started.
What is included?
We provide the bike, helmet, basket or bike bag, and an illustrated map of the sites that we'll see so that you can go back later and visit them on your own. Plus, it makes for a great free souvenir! Gratuities are not included and at your discretion.
